Our Diabetes Educator works with people who have, or are at risk of developing diabetes. We help you learn how to manage your diabetes and support you to make healthy lifestyle changes that will help you to reduce your risk of diabetes related complications.
We also work together with you and your doctor to help you understand your diabetes medication management and can supply and advise on a range of glucose meters and insulin pens.
Where is it available?
Diabetes Education services are available at our Nathalia, Cobram and Numurkah campuses.
How can I access it?
Most people get a referral from their doctor. You can refer yourself or be referred by another health professional, family, carer or advocate provided you give your consent for this.
