Position: People and Culture Officer
Location: Numurkah Campus but required to work across NCN Health campuses
EFT/Hours: 1.0 EFT (80 Hours Per Fortnight) including one paid accrued day off
Status: Full Time Temporary – 12 Month Parental Leave Replacement position (until 18th April 2022)
Classification: HS2 (Grade 2) $1,284.00 per week, plus 9.5% superannuation and salary packaging or HS3 (Grade 3) $1,431.70 per week, plus 9.5% superannuation and salary packaging
About NCN Health:
The voluntary amalgamation of Nathalia, Cobram and Numurkah health services took place on 1 July 2019, to enhance access to local health care for communities. The new organisation ‘NCN Health’ now operates under a combined management and governance structure. NCN Health provides a range of health services for residents and visitors to the Moira Shire while upholding out three core values of Respect, Accountability and Partnership to represent our staff, residents, clients and broader community, now and into the future.
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced person to join our People and Culture team at NCN Health. The People and Culture Officer will be part of a team that values integrity and teamwork. Reporting to the Director of People and Culture the successful applicant will contribute to the overall success of NCN Health in providing a comprehensive range of services to support our staff at NCN Health. This is a generalist human resources role that includes responsibilities for the recruitment process and various employee relations matter. The People and Culture Officer will have the opportunity to work closely with the project team to implement new workforce systems and maintenance of these databases which are about to commence.
What we are looking for:
- Diploma or Bachelor in Human Resources, and / or relevant experience working in a People and Culture Officer role
- Proven experience in end to end recruitment and selection processes.
- Understanding of industrial and employee relations including the ability to understand, interpret and apply clauses under relevant Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA’s) and Awards.
