Rotary To Host Inaugural ‘Lift the Lid Walk’
The Rotary Club of Numurkah are hosting their first ever ‘Lift the Lid Walk’ this May.
The event aims to ‘Lift the Lid’ on mental health awareness and is a great way to bring the community together, raise some funds and get active outside.
All proceeds from the walk go to mental health research through Australian Rotary Health.
Lift the Lid will kick off at 9.30am on Sunday May 19th. The 5km track starts from Louis Hamon Gardens located in Melville Street, Numurkah, walking along the creek track and through the showgrounds.
This is an all abilities event and dogs on leads are welcome.
Rotary Club of Numurkah will be hosting a BBQ for a gold coin donation, there will be mental health information and promotion and a guest speaker in attendance.
Grab your early bird tickets before May 2 and receive entry for $30 plus an event t-shirt. Kids under 15 are free and you can purchase a t-shirt for them online when you register.
