Help us name the ‘New Lodge’!
NCN Health is calling on all staff, residents and community members to name the new Public Sector Residential Aged Care Service (PSRACS) being built in Numurkah. The new facility, which will be built off Hurley Court, next to the current NCN Health Numurkah Urgent Care Centre and Karinya Nursing Home, will eventually replace the current Numurkah Pioneers Memorial Lodge.
We invite staff, residents, families, and community members to share their ideas for:
- A name for the new building
- Names for the three households within the new Lodge
Your suggestions may reflect:
- The local area, landscape or natural environment
- A feeling of home, comfort and connection
- Community, care and belonging
There are no right or wrong answers — we simply ask that names are respectful, inclusive and meaningful. The new building cannot be called, Numurkah Pioneers Memorial Lodge, however it could be a variation of this name.
How to participate:
- Hard copies of the survey will be available from May 6 – June 5 at; Numurkah Pioneer Memorial Lodge Reception, NCN Health Numurkah Main Reception, Numurkah Community Learning Centre.
- You can complete the survey online via this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YRFZNQD
Submissions close: Midday Friday June 5.
Return hard copies to of the survey to Numurkah Pioneer Memorial Lodge Reception, NCN Health Numurkah Main Reception, Numurkah Community Learning Centre.
All submissions will be reviewed by the PSRACS committee which includes, clinical and non-clinical staff and community representatives. The committee will put together a short list of names, which will go back out to our staff, community and residents for further consultation.
Thank you for being part of this exciting new chapter. Your input will help shape a place our residents and community can truly feel proud of.
