Ultrasound is back at Numurkah and Cobram

NCN Health is excited to announce ultrasound services have recommenced in Numurkah and Cobram.

This comes after independent Ultrasound provider, I-MED Goulburn Valley ceased operations in Numurkah and Cobram in January and May respectively.

At the time I-MED informed NCN Health the closure was due to ongoing challenges sourcing and retaining staff in the region.

NCN Health Director of Operations Justin Sullivan said the ultrasound service would now be owned and operated by NCN Health.

“We hope that in facilitating this service ourselves we can provide greater ease of access to the local community. Appointments for both ultrasound and x-ray will be made directly to our reception, meaning the community no longer have to call a centralised number.

“The service will be staffed by NCN Health and we will partner with GV Health who will provide support in the reporting requirements.

“Initially days of operation for  Ultrasound will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and we are working on staffing both services on a fulltime basis.”
