Early Works Commence on the ‘new’ Pioneers Lodge
After months of planning, consultation and design, early works to prepare for the new 'Pioneers Lodge' have begun at NCN Health Numurkah. Land acquisition negotiations were recently finalised and NCN Health has appointed Crow Constructions to manage the early works of this project. This includes the demolition of several dwellings on Hurley Court, general site clean-up and preparation. This is expected to take 2 – 3 weeks in total.

NCN Health has commenced the development of its next strategic plan. The Board and Senior Leadership Team are committed to ensuring the plan is informed by the voices of NCN Health's community. The survey is anonymous, and the data is being collected and reviewed by Nicole Amsing, an independent consultant who is supporting NCN Health with the development of its strategic plan. The survey has seven questions and should only take you 5 - 10 minutes to complete.

From mid-May, NCN Health Numurkah will begin upgrades to its operating theatre to support the delivery of safe, high-quality care. Funded by the Victorian Government, these works aim to meet modern standards with minimal disruption to services. Planning is underway to reschedule a small number of procedures, and additional theatre sessions will help reduce impacts on patients.

The Cobram Campus Urgent Care and Acute Ward Redevelopment is in its final stages of construction and is on track to be completed by the end of the year. The redevelopment started in February 2023, with the new Urgent Care Centre Opening and operational in March 2024.
