Cobram Campus Redevelopment Update
The Cobram Campus Urgent Care and Acute Ward Redevelopment is in its final stages of construction and is on track to be completed by the end of the year. The redevelopment started in February 2023, with the new Urgent Care Centre Opening and operational in March 2024.

The celebrations included guest speakers, bbq lunch, campus tours, health promotion information and unveiling of a new historical photo wall.

NCN Health Cobram Theatre Service Permanently Transferred to Numurkah Campus.
Theatre services at NCN Health Cobram will permanently transfer to the Numurkah Campus. Theatre services have been operating out of the Numurkah Campus since February 2023 while renovations to the Cobram Urgent Care and acute ward took place. NCN Health recently received funding under the Victorian Government’s Rural Health Infrastructure Fund to upgrade Numurkah Theatre services in line with current safety standards and requirements.

The new NCN Health Cobram Urgent Care Centre officially opened on Wednesday March 27. The new facility is part of a redevelopment at NCN Health Cobram that includes new urgent care facilities, increased floor space and improved staff and community safety with a separate entry into urgent care, new ambulance bay and two waiting areas.

The Rotary Club of Numurkah are hosting their first ever ‘Lift the Lid Walk’ this May. The event aims to ‘Lift the Lid’ on mental health awareness and is a great way to bring the community together, raise some funds and get active outside. All proceeds from the walk go to mental health research through Australian Rotary Health.

The Community Bus Hits The Road!
The NCN Health Community Bus has arrived and is a hit with residents, staff and volunteers. The 11-seater all-abilities access bus accommodates wheelchair access, offers handrails and a modified step entry. The new wheels are thanks to Rotary Club of Numurkah who led the fundraiser in partnership with Bendigo Bank and NCN Health. The project was first launched in February 2022 and thanks to the incredible community support enough money was raised to purchase two vehicles by the end of 2022.

NCN Health CEO Jacque Phillips has tendered her resignation to the Board of Directors, effective from 12th January 2024. NCN Health welcomes current Director of Operations, Justin Sullivan to the Acting CEO Position.
