Where is it available?
District Nursing Services are available across Nathalia, Cobram and Numurkah communities and are usually provided as a visit to your home.
You may prefer to be seen by a District Nurse at one of our Community Health facilities, and this can be arranged.
What does it cost?
You may need to pay a small cost towards any items such as bandages and wound dressing products.
How can I access it?
Most people get a referral from their doctor. You can refer yourself or be referred by another health professional, hospital, family, carer or advocate provided you give your consent for this.
For information regarding our services or to make a referral, please contact our District Nursing Service at your local NCN Health campus.
If you are aged over 65 years, you can also contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 or visit the website as they will be able to assist you with the referral to any other support services you may require.
