The National Disability Insurance Scheme is called the NDIS. The NDIS is a new way to help people under 65 years of age with a disability to get care supports and achieve their goals.

To become an NDIS participant a person must:

  • Have a permanent disability that significantly affects their ability to take part in everyday activities.
  • Be aged less than 65 years when you first enter NDIS.
  • Be an Australian Citizen or hold a permanent visa or protected special category visa.

Service Details

NCN Health is a registered NDIS provider for the delivery of disability support services to participants eligible for the NDIS.

We can provide the following services under the NDIS:

  • Therapeutics Support – Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy
  • Social Support
  • Community Nursing Care
  • Innovative Community Participation (Group Activities)
  • Daily Tasks/Shared Living (Meals)

 

Where is it available?

NDIS services are available at our Nathalia, Cobram and Numurkah campuses.

What does it cost?

The fees for NDIS services are discussed at your initial assessment and set out in a service agreement. You will receive a copy of this for your records.

How can I access it?

Participants are encouraged to discuss their specific needs and requirements with staff at NCN Health to ensure they are fulfilling the goals and objectives set out in their NDIS Plans. NCN Health will assist participants in achieving their goals by providing a high standard of care which meets the participants needs.
