Pulmonary Rehabilitation is an 8 week program that brings people who have chronic lung conditions together once a week to enjoy exercise in a group setting. It also includes education sessions to help you understand your lung condition and better manage your health and wellbeing.
Why would I attend Pulmonary Rehabilitation?
- If you have a long term lung illness, for example Asthma or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
- To gain information about your lung condition and how to best manage this over time.
- To improve your quality of life and improve symptoms such as shortness of breath and fatigue.
- To be assisted with the use of spacers and inhalers for the management of your lung condition.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation is available at our Nathalia, Cobram and Numurkah campuses.
What does it cost?
Free.
How can I access it?
Most people get a referral from their doctor. You can refer yourself or be referred by another health professional, family, carer or advocate provided you give your consent for this.
